Senior Interior Architect

HBG Design is seeking a senior level Interior Architect for either our Memphis or San Diego office, who can actively contribute to the delivery of engaging design experiences for our national and international clients. HBG Design is a Top 10 nationally-recognized hospitality and entertainment architecture and interior design firm. To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

    • Four (4) or five (5) year Architecture, Interior Design, or Interiors Architecture degree from an accredited program
    • Current licensure/registration or actively pursuing licensure/registration
    •  At least ten (10) years of professional experience with a focus on interiors documentation
    • Knowledge of building technology and can demonstrate it through self produced documents and communication of design process
    • Demonstrated sensitivity to architectural design by the caliber of projects in resume as well as specific design contributions made to projects
    • Demonstrated experience in construction documents
    • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with architectural designers to integrate building and interior architecture
    • Thorough understanding of construction materials, methods, and interdependencies.
    • Ability to collaboratively resolve complex technical and design issues with team to produce innovative and constructible solutions
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Required software: Revit
    • Preferred software: Sketch-up, Photoshop, SpexxLogic
