The Project

Beneath the new Gun Lake Resort Hotel Tower, the MnoYé Spa—whose name comes from the Potawatomi word meaning “living well”—offers a private sanctuary for both hotel and spa guests. Designed around the concept of Serene, the spa draws inspiration from the soft glow of Gun Lake sunsets and the surrounding natural landscape.

Warm stone, tranquil colors, and layered textures create a restorative retreat, while flowing water features and hydrotherapy pools enhance the sensory experience. Guests can enjoy a variety of wellness amenities, including six massage treatment rooms, a full-service nail salon, a state-of-the-art fitness center with Peloton bikes and free weights, as well as personalized hydrothermal experiences with bubble massage benches, gooseneck massagers, and customizable lighting and music.

Adjacent meeting spaces carry the same serene aesthetic, dressed in warm, earthy tones that evoke the Michigan landscape. Broad glass openings throughout the spa and guestrooms reinforce biophilic design principles, connecting guests to nature and ensuring the restorative qualities of the outdoors are never far from reach.

The MnoYé Spa Retreat embodies HBG Design’s commitment to blending wellness, biophilia, and luxurious hospitality—providing a quiet, nurturing escape at the heart of a bustling entertainment resort.
