The Project

Ribbon Town is the Pokagon’s historic name for South Bend, a heritage celebrated in the river patterning and vivid sunset colors of the new Ribbon Town Conference and Events Center at Four Winds South Bend Casino & Hotel.

Guests ascend to the second-floor conference and events center via a central cluster of escalators and stairs that transport guests upward into a vibrant entry experience.

Emphasized by a vaulted ceiling, the dramatic cove lighting wrapped in large copper ring ceiling accents frames an enchanting chandelier of suspended copper, champagne and silver colored metal shapes reminiscent of lily pads in the river.

Mimicking a sunset’s reflection on rippling water, the multi-purpose event center features warm amber, gold, and deep violet hues in lighting fixtures, furnishings, and in the custom carpeting’s abstracted river pattern. Elegant wood detailing, neutral accents, and copper wall and column accent trim add just the right additional touches to enhance the high-end aesthetic for appeal to guests attending a wide range of event types.
