The Project
HBG Design led the transformative casino design of Live! Casino Louisiana, the premier land-based gaming destination in Bossier City, developed by the nationally acclaimed Cordish Companies. Rising from the site of the former Diamond Jacks Casino, the reimagined property reflects a bold new vision—anchoring entertainment, excitement, and regional pride through innovative design storytelling.
Partnering with KdG, a Shive-Hattery company, HBG Design delivered a fully immersive casino experience, creating vibrant interior environments from concept through design development and construction administration. KdG served as the Architect-of-Record for the casino and led documentation of the broader resort components, including hotel and amenity areas.
Live! Casino Louisiana delivers an immersive and high-energy gaming experience inspired by the natural flow of the nearby Red River. From the moment guests arrive, they are greeted by a dynamic LED media installation that seamlessly transitions from the porte cochère to the entry lobby floor—an eye-catching digital feature that sets the tone for the entire visit. Inside, the casino’s fluid layout, sculptural ceilings, and rich red hues evoke the movement of water, guiding guests intuitively through the space.
At the heart of the action, the Center Bar pulses with energy beneath a swirling canopy of LED lights, creating a vortex-like focal point enhanced by dynamic lighting effects and bar-top gaming. For the high-limit guest, the design transitions to elegance and exclusivity, anchored by a dramatic suspended crystal dragon and a palette of luxe materials, from glowing onyx and walnut millwork to gold tile and mirrored finishes. Each space is crafted to elevate the guest experience through bold storytelling and immersive design.
