The Project

The first-ever Rock and Brews Casino is a 67,000 square foot expansion and 4,000 square foot renovation to the Kaw Nation’s existing casino operation. Contemporary exterior architecture is inspired by its rural context. The exterior’s agrarian-industrial geometry is animated by ribbed metal, wood and glass materiality and gable pitched rooflines.

Inside the new Rock & Brews Casino, patrons will find that the new and improved gaming floor and noted Rock & Brews restaurant remain true to the brand promise. Layers of wood and metal materials and vivid pattern add texture and contrast to rock and roll music themed graphic elements on nearly every surface. A dark and jewel tone color palette creates added dimension to mural painted brick walls and the industrial aesthetic.

Within the large vaulted brewhouse, the ceiling is theatrically covered with banner graphics of rock and roll iconography. Backlit graphic frames and stage-type lighting hang from a large stage lighting truss painted red to match the rock and roll vibe and the Rock and Brews brand, fully immersing guests in a concert style environment complete with high-quality audio and visual experiences, all designed to celebrate the defining moments of rock n’ roll.
